O'Flaherty's Bar Buncrana Risograph Print

from €25.00

A risograph art print of O’Flaherty’s Bar, Buncrana. Well-known locally for its trad nights, “OTB” Out the Back live music, and cocktails, O’Flaherty’s is one of the first port of calls for many people on a Saturday night. Colloquially known as “Flas”, I’m pretty sure everyone has a good story to tell about a night out here. Myself and my husband held our wedding reception here and it was one of the best days, so of course I had to commemorate it with a print.

This print was created using the unique technique of risograph (or “riso”) printing. Risography combines the efficiency of digital printing with the charm of traditional screen printing. Each colour layer is printed separately using eco-friendly soy-based inks, resulting in vibrant, textured prints with unique overlaps and subtle variations that make every print truly one-of-a-kind.

Technical specs:

Printed in Yellow, Green, and HD Black on a Riso M1070E, in Derry Print Workshop. Printed onto Munken Pure 170gsm FSC® certified paper.

Unframed prints are packaged with recycled greyboard and biodegradable/compostable cellulose “cellophane”. Framed prints are framed in a sleek oak-style minimal frame with real glass.

Size: A4 21cm x 29.7cm

Drawn, printed and packaged by Cara in Donegal, Ireland.

This design is also available in a heavy-duty canvas tote bag in black or natural canvas - check it out here.
